2004 was our inaugural year. After the mad-dash to finish construction, we arrived in Estes Park to show our handywork. Our biggest concern was that the machine was still largely untested, and we had crowds of people barely out of range of the sling. Somehow we survived the weekend with only minor mishaps and not a single accident.

We attended two events in 2004, with a month in between to tweak and adjust.
